When I was little I loved to jump rope, especially double dutch....I was really good at it too. I was reminded of it because Natalie's kids have started to jump, but I have notice that not a lot of kids do it here, or maybe just not any more. My favorite type songs were the ones that would go on forever, like:

Bubble gum, Bubble gum in a dish how many pieces do you wish?
1..2..3..4..5..

or:
Cinderella, dressed in yellow
Went upstairs to kiss a fellow

Made a mistake
Kissed a snake
How many docotrs
Did it take?
{count until someone makes a mistake}

I also loved this song, but I think we mostly did those clap games to it:

Miss Suzie had a steamboat
The steamboat had a bell
Miss Suzie went to heaven
The steamboat went to
Hello operator
Please give me number nine
If you disconnect me
I'll kick you from
Behind the refrigerator there was a piece of glass
Miss Suzie sat upon it and cut her little
Ask me no more questions
Tell me no more lies
The boys are in the bathroom zipping up their
Flies are in the meadow
The bees are in the park
Miss Suzie and her boyfriend are kissing in the
Dark
